TNT Auditions for the Fall production of Tales of Edgar Allan Poe

This Spring TNT will perform Tales of Edgar Allan Poe. Three tales of the macabre in the best of Edgar Alan Poe’s style adapted for the stage in an evening of intrigue! The Masque of the Red Death, The Tell Tale Heart and the epic poem The Raven are all a part of this performance – perfect for an October Audience!

  • Who: Actors ages 12 to 17
  • When: Saturday, August 28th, 2010 10am til 12pm
  • Where: The Varnell Education Building 1711 Poplar Ave. (next to The Circuit Playhouse)
  • What: Audition will consist of cold reading from the script, and a short movement audition.

Fall classes begin the week of September 13th, 2010, and conclude December 11th, 2010 at the Festival of Plays.

Spring classes begin the week of February 14th, 2011, and conclude May 14th, 2011 at the Festival of Plays.

Karin Barile celebrates her 30th anniversary with Circuit Playhouse

Beginning with a CETA grant in 1979 to help found Show of Hands with Marc Martinez, Karin has overseen the institution and growth of many Theatre for Youth programs at Playhouse on the Square and The Circuit Playhouse. Programs include Summer Youth Conservatory, After School Acting Program, Theatre School, Teens in Theatre, Saturday Morning Matinee Series, and the Theatre For Youth Touring program. In all, Circuit Playhouse, Inc.’s educational and outreach programs reach nearly 30,000 children each year. Many have been directly influenced by Karen’s guidance, teaching, and love of the arts.
