The Glass Menagerie - Sunday, October 5, 2008

Tennessee Williams was a master at creating dysfunctional Southern families - let's see how you do! Share your favorite story about your dysfunctional Southern family and let the cast be the judge of the best of the worst! Submissions may be sent prior to the event to Courtney Oliver at courtney@playhouseonthesquare.org. Winners receive tickets to upcoming shows and other prizes. Jewelry and other glass works will be on display by local artists who specialize in glass art. Southern cuisine will be offered, along with mint juleps and amaretto sours.

A Tuna Christmas - Sunday, November 30

Our classic Tuna Casserole Cook-Off will be the foundation of this fun event. Come taste the best in local tuna casseroles. Our audience members will judge your culinary skills! These are not the fairy tales you grew up with! Take our Grimms Brothers trivia quiz to see how well you know the true endings of these classic fairy tales. We'll also offer a forest of food and drinks inspired by these gruesome stories - from Poison Apple Cider to Magic Bean Dip. Appropriate for children and adults.
