Summer Youth Conservatory

Playhouse on the Square’s Summer Youth Theatre Conservatory is open to any student interested in theatre regardless of experience. Participants attend daily classes and workshops in theatre skills and dynamics, voice, dance/movement, and more. Session sizes are limited to allow for maximum individual attention and development. Offering 1-2 week summer camp sessions for rising K-2nd, 3rd-5th, and 6th-12th grade students.

Summer Youth Theatre Conservatory ACT SING DANCE CREATE PERFORM

TOTS@POTS (K-2ND): June 10-14, 9:00-12:00/1:00-4:00 $175

A great introduction to Theatre for our youngest students. This is a 3 hour conservatory where students will partake in acting, music, and dance with a showcase at the end of the week to demonstrate all of their hard work. We aim to help our students grow in confidence, stage presence, artistic interpretation, and teamwork. This is a fun week you will not want to miss.

JUNIOR CONSERVATORY (3RD-5TH): JUNE 17-28, 9:00-3:00 $325

This 2-week, 6 hour a day, conservatory will help new students discover a love for theatre and returning students build on their skillset. This musical theatre intensive is designed for those wishing to learn more all the up to season veterans. Students will take classes in acting, music, dance, playwriting, and a specialty class. Our students will learn terminology, technique, work ethic, and team work which can be translated into any profession they chose to do in life.. This is a can’t miss program!

AFTER CARE AVAILABLE FROM 3:00-5:30 ($75)

SENIOR CONSERVATORY (6TH-12TH): JULY 8-19, 9:00-5:00 $650

This 2 week, 8 hours a day, musical theater intensive is designed to help our students grow in their craft and prepare them for the next level if they chose to pursue theatre as a profession. Like Junior, students will take classes in acting, music, dance, playwriting, and a specialty class.  Our students will learn terminology, technique, work ethic, and team work which can be translated into any profession they chose to do in life. We will also help our graduating students prepare for college and the professional world so that they are ready for whatever life throws at them. This is where you want to spend your summer.
